FAQ
FAQ
Do I need trading experience?
No. For general membership, no technical background is required at all. For the research track we care about analytical thinking and programming ability, not trading experience.
How much time does MQR require?
Membership requires nothing beyond showing up to what interests you. The research track is 2–10 hours per week for pod work; competition weeks can require more.
Is MQR for Maastricht University students only?
Primarily, yes. Reach out if you are at a nearby institution.
Is any real money involved?
All trading is simulated on paper accounts, no real money is involved.
